When speaking of their wedding day, many will simply say that "Today I marry my best friend."

While it is true that you are my best and closest friend, the one person who knows me better than any other, you are far more than that. Today I celebrate the greatest blessing God has ever given me (second only to Jesus Christ of course.) And far more than merely a friend, you are my wife. My partner. My equal. You show me joy, give me hope, help me to dream. You encourage me, spur me along, confront me, challenge me, help me to grow. You don't let me stay where I am, but every day help me to become more of the man God created me to be. You show me what it means to love, what it means to hope, what it means to live. In short, you are the most amazing woman I have ever met, or will ever meet.

And no matter how I try, words will never begin to capture who you are, or express what you mean to me.

Over the course of the years to come, many people will enter and leave our lives. Friends will come and go. Children will grow up and move away. Jobs will change, possessions move from here to there. But through it all, no matter where God leads us in life, the one constant we have will be each other. And no matter what our future holds in store - good or bad, joy or pain, routine or excitement, wealth or poverty, health or sickness - we will walk through each moment together.

In short, today I do marry my best friend. And I also receive the greatest blessing that I have ever been given - the gift of my wife, Christina Marie Myers.

My darling Christina, I cherish you, I treasure you, and I adore you. I eagerly look forward to every moment our loving Father blesses us with.

I love you more than you will ever know. And every day of our lives, I will do my best to show you exactly how much that is.

Your adoring hubby,
